Drunk in charge of vehicle – Huddersfield

Today the Huddersfield Examiner report a man who was charged with being in charge of a vehicle whilst unfit through drink. The car was found blocking John Smith Stadium and the driver with an empty bottle of vodka. After being breathalysed he was found to have 105 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. It was considered that the owner of the vehicle was likely to have driven the car, the driver was found to only hold a provisional licence and was endorsed with 10 penalty points a hefty fine, costs and victim surcharge.
